The topic of this week's edition of Hampton Roads Topics is the second annual Run for the Dream, a weekend of fun and competitive runs and walks in Colonial Williamsburg May 19th and 20th. The weekend includes a half-marathon.
The event is a fundraiser for the Newport News Achievable Dream Academy, where students learn not only the basics of education but about life as well. Students are taught etiquette, finances, healthy living, and resolving conflict.
