This week on Topics I learn about the Walk for PKD, which is scheduled for Saturday, November 3rd at 17th Street Park at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. PKD stands for Polycystic Kidney Disease, a genetic disease that causes cysts to form on kidneys, eventually limiting their function. The condition is not uncommon...it affects approximately one in 500 people.
