HR Topics -- Hospice Alliance of Hampton Roads

The podcast of this week's program about the Hospice Alliance of Hampton Roads is now available.  My guests are Doug Price of the Hospice Alliance, Mary Vince of Interim Home Health and Hospice, and Jennifer Ellsworth, who is co-chair of the 4th Annual Hospital Alliance Masquerade Ball in March.

Hospice care, as I have learned from previous interviews with Doug and his wife, Debra, involves the care of people nearing the end of their lives.  Doug says hospice care is a benefit to the patient because of the comfort and care they receive outside of a hospital setting.  The patient's family also benefits.

Mary and Jennifer discuss how they learned about hospice care through loved ones facing end of life issues. Their experiences led both to become supporters of the Hospice Alliance.
