Sunday's edition of Hampton Roads Topics will preview the 2nd Annual Fur Ball Gala, a benefit for the Portsmouth Humane Society, which happens Saturday, January 28th at the Portsmouth Renaissance Hotel. It's a formal affair in which pet owners and their "well-mannered dogs" are invited to an evening of food, dancing and live music. My guest is Christie Chipps Peters, the Executive Director of the Portsmouth Humane Society. We will also discuss the organization's brand new shelter on Seaboard Court, which is triple the size of the original shelter.
