The podcast of Sunday's interview with Portsmouth Humane Society Director Christy Chipps Peters is now available. However, since the show aired Sunday morning, I have learned that the Fur Ball Gala that we discuss during the interview has been postponed to an unspecified date later in the year. I will update this podcast when I learn the revised date of the event.
Besides the Fur Ball, Peters discusses the Portsmouth Humane Society's new and greatly improved shelter on Seaboard Court. Of particular interest is the "cat colony" room, where as many as 30 cats roam freely. Peters says visitors can enter the room and bond with the cats.
